About Kyle

I’m Kyle Odeen.
I build marketing around
what founders know.

I work with established service businesses whose owners have a proven offer and ambition to grow, but little time to turn their expertise into marketing.

Why I chose this work.

I started Odeen Marketing while I was studying marketing in college. I wanted to work with founders and take part in building businesses.

My interest began with Mark Bonetti, my high school marketing teacher. He introduced me to a field that combined things I enjoyed: creative work, the psychology of copywriting, and testing ideas through analytics.

That curiosity led me to the Chamber’s Startup and Urban Hubs and to producing local radio with Jim Schmitt. I wanted to understand how businesses and communities develop by getting closer to the people doing the work.

Today, I’m growing Odeen’s team, sourcing new business, and sharing what I learn through this publication.

This city raised me.

I grew up and went to school in Green Bay. This city gave me opportunities I value, and I want to contribute by working with the owners and organizations supporting business growth here.

Working on the Chamber’s economic development team gave that interest a purpose. Conversations with Jim Schmitt about the city’s past and the issues it faces made me want to contribute more.

You’ll see me taking notes.

If we meet, you’ll usually see me writing things down. I want to understand what matters to you. When someone shares a book, an idea, or something they found valuable, I often follow up about it afterward.

In marketing work, I ask what the message needs to accomplish and how it fits the way customers find and choose the business. Then I make the information easier to understand and give the reader a clear next step.

The interviews on this site put that approach into practice. I’m asking local founders and community builders how they found demand for their ideas, what guided their decisions, and how they earned support. What I learn will become useful questions in the Finding Demand guide.

Agency business development

$100k+

Sales opportunities generated.

As Director of Business Development at a marketing agency, I generated more than $100,000 in opportunities through conferences and cold email.

Cash Depot

About 64%

Of one product’s total deals.

By the end of my first three months at Cash Depot, I was responsible for roughly 64% of one product’s total deals since its launch.

Websites for Green Bay businesses.

I’ve designed websites for Dimension IV and Appease in Green Bay.

Character is a daily practice.

Outside work, I spend at least 30 minutes each day studying philosophy and focus on my health and fitness. For me, building character means keeping the person I want to become in mind and returning to that standard in everyday decisions.

It’s something I look for in the people I meet, too: a commitment to their principles and to the work of becoming better.

Work with Odeen

You know your business.
Let’s make that knowledge useful.

If your service is proven and you’re ready to grow, Odeen can help turn your expertise into clear copy, consistent content, and a path to an inquiry. I work with partners for graphic design and video production, with scope agreed before we begin.
